Jehan Dupont Danzel d'Aumont specialises in international corporate and commercial law especially in connection with German, Chinese and Russian clients.

For many years he has been advising companies ranging from medium-sized companies to multinational corporations, in particular on restructurings and cross-border M&A projects, taking into account international tax law and regulatory aspects.

 

Before leading GDDA Luxembourg, he has successfully practiced as Managing Associate in the Luxembourg office of a renown international top tier law firm.

Maitre Dupont Danzel d'Aumont has successfully advised individuals, companies, coporate legal counsels and other law firms on a wide range of Luxembourg transactions and legal matters, such as:

  • cross-practice due diligences relating to acquistions of Luxembourg companies, including advice on corporate, regulatory, business law and real estate matters;

  • establishment and optimisation of Luxembourg investment vehicles (holdings, SPVs, SVs);

  • advising on share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, joint venture contracts on Luxembourg targets, such as holdings, but also companies operating commercial and financial services;

  • advising on the transfer of the private banking branch of a financial group by way of asset deal;

  • crisis management and advice relating to the defense of a majority shareholder in a dispute over the shares of a top company holding a factory producing spare parts for automobiles;

  • avoidance of a forced liquidation of an operational company producing truck components by way of the recovery of funds through non-judicial dispute resolution;
